If we desire healthy skin drinking water is a must. Water can help you combat a variety of skin issues including psoriasis and eczema. I know as I suffered with psoriasis on my arm. Eventually once I understood the importance of water and drank a minimum 64 ounces a day it gradually went away. Water helps our digestive system flush out toxins from the body. This, in turn, will improve your complexion for healthy and glowing skin. There are, also, so really good things that we can eat to help us get water into out bodies.

I use ginger everyday. For a morning ginger-lemon shot, pain oil for inflammation during the day and a tea at night. Also, sprinkle ground pepper on most foods in place of pepper.
Protein is an important component of every cell in the body. It is considered to be the building blocks of life. The body uses protein to build and repair tissues. You also use protein to make enzymes, hormones, and other body chemicals. Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage, skin, and blood. We need protein to survive. Protein can be found in non-animal sources, such as lentils, beans, and whole grains. There are diets that tell a person to intake more and more protein, there are some that say minimize. We have to know that too much or too little protein can, also, have an impact on the body. So we much each find balance in our intake of protein.
Our wellness in mind, body, spirit is not a one-size-fits-all approach. However, there are some common factors that influence good wellness. The more we know, are willing to learn and apply, the more power we have. My most recent book on Holistic Wellness Mind, Body, Spirit is packed with simple principles for daily application that can transform you thinking, your life.
In this process of holistic wellness, we need to know first that God created each of us in his likeness. He created us at good beings and thus we first need to see ourselves as He intended. He desires for us to have a life of abundance in our mind, in our body and in our spirit. What we will need to do is rethink some things and ways we have been living and desire, strive for and apply new approaches for better living, towards our greater.
Always remember that your environment is just as important as what you put in your body. A healthy diet and exercise are great but if your environment is filled with turmoil, you're not balanced. Take the time to examine everything in your life and ensure that you are taking care of MIND-BODY-SPIRIT.
Paul describes the discipline of integrity by comparing it to the effective but temporal—“bodily exercise” (I Timothy: 7–8). Paul is agreeing that we need to care for our bodies, and exercise is a part of that care. As God’s Temple, we care for our bodies, so they can be used for His glory
(1 Cor. 6:19–20). We also want our bodies fit when we present them as instruments God can use in His service (Rom. 12:1–2).
